Christopher Shaffer was hired as the Director of the Windsor Area Recreation Commission in October of 2011. He is a 2006 graduate of Red Lion Area Senior High School and a 2011 graduate of the Sport Management program at York College of Pennsylvania. During his senior year at YCP, Chris completed an internship with the athletic department at Red Lion Area Senior High School, learning from Athletic Director Arnie Fritzius and Assistant Athletic Director Kyle Masser.
Chris is an avid sports fan, cheering for the Baltimore Orioles, Tennessee Titans, and of course your Red Lion Lions! You're likely to run into Chris at many of our youth sports practices and games throughout the course of the spring and fall seasons. Next time you see him, feel free to say hi!
When he's not working, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife April and his daughters Aislynn and Emersyn. Chris is also an avid fisherman and enjoys doing pretty much anything outdoors.
