Windsor Softball participates in the South Central Pennsylvania Softball league. Practices typically begin in early April (weather dependent) and are scheduled twice per week. Games begin in early to mid May. Games are usually scheduled during the week, though there may be some weekend games. In most cases, your commitment to the team will be no more than 3 out of the 7 day week. The season lasts through mid to late July.
Registration opens Tuesday January 6th and closes Thursday February 19th at midnight. There is a $25 late fee for registrations accepted after this time.
Jersey included in registration cost. Kelly Green socks are available for purchase.
Players must provide their own black pants, cleats, and glove. Players are encouraged to have their own helmet and bat however we will have some for those without.
Players who have a jersey from the spring 2025 or fall 2025 seasons may use this jersey and receive a $20 discount off of registration by entering promo code JERSEY2026
Each family will be assigned and be responsible for selling 3 Pork BBQ Sandwich meal (unless chose fundraiser buyout). Each ticket costs $12.00 and includes a pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw, and a bag of Middleswarth potato chips. Meals are provided by Blazing Swine BBQ. The Windsor Rec BBQ will be held May 9th from 12pm-3pm (rain or shine). Money from the tickets will be due to your child’s coach no later than April 25th.
In mid-2025, our governing body for league play (South Central Pennsylvania Softball) voted to adopt new birthdate cutoffs to align the league with USSSA standards. Age groupings are below.
