As an extension of the Windsor Baseball program, we are offering a rec level tournament baseball opportunity to take place in July 2026. We will be forming teams at the 10U and 12U age groups (4/30/26 birth date cut-off) to play in two tournaments.
This opportunity is limited to current Windsor Baseball players who DO NOT play for an established travel team. This program gives players the opportunity to play in a few tournaments without the time and financial commitment of being part of a full time travel baseball program.
Tryouts for the Wombats will take place on May 17th (rain date of May 31st) at Workinger Field in Red Lion.
10U- 1pm-2:30pm
12U- 2:45pm-4:15pm
Players must register below to try out (free). Players that make the team will receive a follow up email with pricing info (approximately $135 per player).
Wombats teams will practice two days per week in July (after the completion of the York County Baseball rec season) and play in two tournaments.
Why Wombats? Because we believe that rec baseball is an integral part of a players youth baseball journey. We believe that playing with classmates and friends in rec ball is important for the social development of children. We DO NOT believe that the travel ball experience should take the place of the rec ball experience. We believe that the travel ball experience should be in addition to the rec ball experience. This is why you will never see a Wombats team entered into a rec league.
