The Windsor Red Lion United Travel Soccer program is designed for players ages 8 through 14 who are committed to a competitive level of play. WRLU travel teams will compete in the CPYSL soccer league. Many games are within a 40-45 min drive however there may be some long distance travel required.

When? ONLINE registration for players birth years 2010 through 2016 will open on Monday April 15th

Who? Players that are committed to playing the game of soccer at a competitive level. Players that register for the travel program but are not selected for a travel team will be placed on an intramural team. Players selected for travel will pay an additional $30 registration fee and be required to purchase a uniform kit for $55.

Scheduling Information: U9 and Older Travel Soccer begins in early August and concludes in early November. Teams will practice Monday and Wednesday OR Tuesday and Thursday. Games are on weekends and begin in late August and run through early November. Most games will require no more than 30–45 minute travel, however there may be an occasional game up to two hours away.

Registration Deadline:

U9 – U15: Thursday, May 16th at midnight; afterwards, a $25 late fee applies, and registration will only be accepted if there is room.

What information must I submit?

1. Players new to the U9 and above travel program (did not play Spring 2024 season) must submit a copy of birth certificate and a headshot photo to Registrar Sheri Boyer at winsocregistrar@gmail.com. Please list your child’s name in the subject line of the email.

What is the cost?

U9 – U15 Registrants:

1. U9 through U15 Teams (Players born years 2010 through 2016) - $100 (Resident), $110 (Non-Resident) initial registration fee. Once a spot on travel is offered and accepted, a $30 additional fee will be due.
2. Uniforms to be purchased separately (if needed) after evaluations.
3. Some coaches may elect to play in a tournament. This cost is in addition to the registration fee.
