Who Can Participate?- The Windsor Field Hockey program is open to girls and boys Grades K-6 (2023-2024 school year) regardless of where you live. Red Lion School District Residents  receive a discounted registration rate.

What is the commitment?- For the K-2 program, the commitment is 2 days per week for either practices or games/scrimmages. For grades 3/4 and 5/6, the commitment is 2-3 days per week, 2 days for practices and 1 weekend game/scrimmage.

Practices-Practices will be local, typically in the evening or Saturday mornings for approximately 1 to 2 hours. Practices for each team will start mid to late August.

Games- For grades 3/4 and 5/6, they will participate in approximately 8-10 games or scrimmages in our local league against SYC, Southwest and Dallastown. Practices will start in August and games will start in September and run through the end of October. We will play 7v7 with or without goalies. Games will be played on turf or grass fields around Southern York County.

For the K-2 program, it will be clinic style, where the players will learn basic skills and gain knowledge of the game. We plan to organize a few scrimmage/games with other local teams. The program will start in mid-late August and run through mid-late October.

Equipment players will need to provide-

Field Hockey stick (length should be from the ground to hip)- provided for K-2 players.
Shin Guards & Black Socks
Field Hockey goggles (optional, but recommended)
Black shorts or Black Field Hockey skirt (optional)
