Windsor Wonderland Rehabilitation Project
In 2020, Windsor Township applied for a grant from the Pennsylvania Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) to replace the existing playground equipment at Windsor Wonderland located at Freysville Park. In addition, new stormwater controls to prevent flooding of the playground were designed and included in the proposed project. Unfortunately, Windsor Township was not selected to receive funding to rehabilitate the playground at Windsor Wonderland.
Windsor Township is seeking donations from community business and residents and will be re-applying for the grant in 2021. If the grant is received, donations will be used as part of Windsor Township's fund match for the project. If the grant is not received, the project will move forward in 2022 with Township funds in addition to any donations received.
Included in the project:
New playground system
New perimeter fencing
Rubberbond play surfacing (commonly referred to as poured in place)
New swings (including handicap friendly)
Stormwater control to prevent flooding
Possible relocation of Gaga Ball pit
You may choose to donate any amount. Thank you for your support!
